The application period for Summer 2008 Short-Term and Emergency Loans is closed. The application period for Short-Term and Emergency Loan applications for Fall 2009 will begin on September 1.
If you are experiencing a temporary shortage of funds, the Financial Aid Office administers the UC Davis Short-Term, Emergency, and Assistant Loan Program for students. These loans are available to regularly enrolled UC Davis students or new students who have enrolled in classes. The funds may be used for educational purposes only.
Beginning Tuesday, September 1, 2009, students can request Short-Term Loans using Fall Quarter 2009 financial aid as source of repayment. Requests for Short-Term Loans with cash back can be approved only if your total Fall Quarter financial aid covers fall registration fees and the cash amount requested. Assistant Loans for graduate students are approved on a case-by-case basis according to employment information.
Short-Term Loan Application review takes place from 8:30 a.m.- 9:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, 1100 Dutton Hall.
