eFAN - What to Expect
After you've reviewed your financial aid awards, you should follow through by providing the necessary forms and documents shown as Requirements. Awards must be accepted and requirements fulfilled before funds will disburse to your account.For example, if you are awarded and you accept a Federal Perkins Loan, you will be required to submit a Perkins Loan Promissory Note, a Truth-in-Lending form, a Loan Borrower's Information form, and a Loan Obligation form to the Financial Aid Office. If you accept the award but never submit the required documents, your Perkins Loan will not disburse to your account.
You may sign your Direct Loan Master Promissory Note online through the Department of Education web site. The link is provided in eFAN. You must accept this award offered in SISWEB in addition to having completing the MPN online.
If you are receiving a Cal Grant B or C, you are required to read and submit the Cal Grant B and C Authorization form by clicking the accept button on the page.
If you are currently a UC Davis student who is not making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), eFAN may direct you to check your SAP status on SISWEB.
Read and submit the online Statement of Understanding before proceeding to the Student Information System web page (SISWEB) to accept or decline your awards.
