Graduate Student Employment
Graduate Student Appointments and Postdoctoral Scholar Employment
Graduate students should contact their respective departments or programs about employment opportunities to help pay for educational costs. The Graduate Studies Web site provides information about to apply for graduate student appointments and and postdoctoral scholar employment, as well as teaching and research assistant positions.
Graduate Work-Study Program
Graduate Financial Aid, in collaboration with Graduate Studies and individual academic departments, awards Work-Study to graduate students based on student eligibility, as determined by the student's FAFSA need analysis, and the completion of any open financial or federal aid requirements.
To be considered for Work-Study funding, graduate students are required to:
- File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available online at fafsa.ed.gov.
- Work with their academic program to request a Graduate Student Researcher (GSR) Work-Study position. Academic Program staff hire the GSRs and notify students when Work-Study awards are posted online.
