UC Davis and the Student Employment Center cordially invite you to participate in our annual Summer Job Fair on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Freeborn Hall. Students and employers, be sure to save the date for this fun and energizing event!

STUDENTS: Over the years we've heard that this is your favorite event to check out the summer job buzz. Summer jobs offered in the past included camp counselors, lifeguards, casino dealers, web designers, lab techs, food service, gardeners, truck drivers, bus drivers, and more! The Summer Job Fair connects students with employers on campus and in the community. This year we anticipate over 1,500 students and 80 employers will attend the Fair. Look for our ads through The California Aggie (the campus newspaper), UC Davis radio (KDVS) commercials, e-mail announcements, and distribution of flyers, signs, display bulletin boards and banners throughout the campus.

EMPLOYERS: submit the Summer Job Fair Registration Form online! If you have not already registered for the Fair, please contact Tiffany at (530) 754-0214 or tlaskey@ucdavis.edu about space availability. To confirm your attendance and reserve your space, your payment must be received within 3 business days of your registration; you'll receive a confirming email when we receive payment in full. Space and tables (for display materials) and meeting facilities (upon request) for prospective-student interviews are provided for participating employers. Employers who would like to provide advance notice of a part-time, temporary, and/or a full-time summer job vacancy listing, are encouraged to use our free Web site at jobs.ucdavis.edu. Please note: Due to limited space availability, walk-in registration will not be accepted for the 2008 Summer Job Fair.
