The Work-Study Program was created to stimulate and promote part-time employment for students who have financial need. It allows students to meet their educational expenses and provides an opportunity for students to gain work experience, as well as, providing essential services to the University and the community.
Through this program, community agencies join UC Davis in providing important training and work experience for UC Davis students at a reduced cost to the employer. Under this program, the student’s salary is partially subsidized by the Federal Government. Non-profit and government agencies pay only 50% of the eligible employee’s wages.
In order to participate in this program, the University and the organization must enter into a Work-Study Program Agreement. If interested in being considered for this program, please submit a Work-Study Application.
