In addition to scholarships offered through the Undergraduate and Prestigious Scholarships office, academic departments and campus organizations also offer scholarships, prizes, and awards to recognize distinguished undergraduate work. Students are encouraged to contact their department or organization to learn about these opportunities.

Student Life Impact Awards

UC Davis recognizes students who have made significant contributions to UC Davis over the past year. Nominations are made through the Division of Student Affairs

Army ROTC

Army ROTC has scholarships are available for high school seniors as well as UC Davis students. These scholarships are awarded based on a student's merit and grades, not financial need.

Army ROTC scholarships consist of:

  • Two-, three-, and four-year scholarship options based on the time remaining to complete your degree
  • Full-tuition scholarships
  • The option for room and board in place of tuition, if you should qualify
  • Additional allowances for books and fees

Cal Aggie Alumni Association

The Cal Aggie Alumni Association (CAAA) has been sponsoring scholarships for UC Davis students since 1934. These one-time awards range from $1,000 to $4,000. Criteria and application instructions including deadlines are on the CAAA website.

Special Prizes

UC Davis recognizes outstanding performance, achievement, and promise in special programs or majors through prizes. The most prestigious prize is the University Medal, presented to the top graduating senior for excellence in undergraduate studies, outstanding community service, and the promise of future scholarship and contributions to society. Other prizes include:

  • Plaques or certificates and cash awards
  • College and school medals to outstanding graduates
