International Scholarships

The prestigious scholarships listed in this section represent opportunities for students who are interested in participating in a program abroad.  Programs below provide funding and some also provide other opportunities such as language acquisition, professional networking, post-graduate employment, and scholar programming.  Eligibility varies by program, but includes opportunities for students in any undergraduate year; though the majority of the programs fund graduate school or post-graduate opportunities.  Explore the individual program pages for more information about eligibility, what makes a strong candidate, and the application process.  Students who are interested in programs in the United States should check the National Scholarships listing.

Churchill Scholarship

Purpose

1 year of graduate studies in engineering, mathematics, or science

Other International Prestigious Scholarships

  • Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship - Up to $5,000 for federal Pell grant recipients to participate in an undergraduate study abroad program.
  • DAAD Rise Scholarship – Full-funding for sophomores, juniors, and seniors to conduct STEM research in Germany during the summer
  • Freeman-ASIA Scholarship - Funds $3,000 - $7,000 for programs of 8+ weeks in select Asian countries
  • Luce Scholars - Provides stipends, language training, and professional placement in Asia for one post-graduate year.
  • Kanders Churchill Scholarship - Full funding to attend the Master’s in Public Policy at the University of Cambridge for applicants who have (or will attain in the upcoming year) a bachelor’s in science, mathematics, or engineering.
  • Yenching Scholarship -1 year of humanities or social science graduate studies at Peking University, Beijing.
