Summer Abroad and Summer Internships Abroad

Summer Abroad and Summer Internships Abroad are UC Davis’ summer study abroad programs, led by a UC Davis faculty during the summer months. With over 50 programs in multiple countries including domestic programs in the US, students will engage in short, intensive academic courses that are complemented with group excursions and cultural activities. UC Davis Summer Abroad and Summer Internships Abroad programs are open to all UC students. To find a program, please contact the Study Abroad Office or visit studyabroad.ucdavis.edu.

Financial aid for summer sessions differs from academic year aid. Limited funds are available during the summer, therefore students are highly encouraged to plan and budget diligently and apply for available scholarships. Summer aid consists of federal and institutional loans, minimal grants are available to eligible students. Once available, generally in April/May, you can use the Summer Aid Estimator to obtain an estimate of the financial aid you may be eligible for. For more information regarding the summer financial aid process, please visit http://financialaid.ucdavis.edu/undergraduate/types/summer/index.html.
