Uncashed checks

​If a paper check was issued for your financial aid refund by Student Accounting and includes federal funds, it must be cashed within 160 days from the date of issue per federal regulations.  If it is not cashed within this timeframe, the check will be canceled, and the funds will be recouped from your account, possibly creating a balance due.
