Scott Palmer
Prestigious Scholarship Advisor
Overview
Scott Palmer joined UC Davis in 2013 as the prestigious scholarship advisor after previously serving as the financial aid director for Bushnell University. Scott was a first-generation college student who earned a BA in history from the University of Puget Sound. He earned a Master of Arts in ministry leadership from George Fox Seminary in 2010. Scott is a member of the National Association of Fellowship Advisors, or NAFA, and currently serves on the board.
International engagement
Scott has travelled to over 20 countries for professional growth, personal enjoyment, and mission work. He received a Fulbright International Education Administrators grant to Germany in 2019. Scott's travels have taken him to Austria, Belgium, Cambodia, Canada, Czechia, England, France, Germany, Haiti, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Slovakia, Switzerland, and Wales.
National review panels
Scott has been a national reviewer for the Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship, Critical Language Scholarship, Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program, Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program, Jack Kent Cooke Scholars, and the Luce Scholars.

Diana Elena Raveica
Financial Aid Officer
Overview
Diana joined UC Davis in 2024 as a financial aid officer serving the outreach team before transitioning to the scholarships team in 2025. Diana has an admissions and recruitment background, having served as the admissions coordinator for the University of the Pacific for several years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
International engagement
Diana’s greatest joy is travel, and she has visited 15 countries and counting. Additionally, as a native Romanian, she feels a particularly strong tie to Europe and its rich culture. She has traveled to Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Romania, Scotland, Spain, and Japan.
