Continuing undergraduate students at a Northern California or Reno, NV college with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater.  Applicants must be planning a medical career with an interest in gerontology, oncology and/or hospice and palliative care.

Construction, engineering, architecture, and design majors with a 2.7 GPA or greater who submit a design project proposal.

Current undergraduate students who study concrete masonry.

Students majoring in welding engineering, civil engineering, or related fields.

LGBT residents of San Diego County at the time of application.  High school seniors must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater while current undergraduates must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or greater.

U.S. citizens or permanent residents of Hispanic origin who have financial need and graduated from S. California high schools.  Applicants can be high school seniors or current undergraduates and must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.

Jewish students from Los Angeles county with financial need and a GPA of 2.7 or greater.

Italian students with high academic achievements, or any student studying Italian language or studies.  Must be U.S. citizens with cumulative GPA's of 3.5 or greater, and a member of the NIAF.

Muslim students majoring in humanities, liberal arts, social sciences, and law with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.

African-American students pursuing careers in a variety of fields.
