Award
The Luce Scholars Program provides leadership training, stipends, language training, and individualized professional placement in Asia for up to 18 Luce Scholars each year. Scholars come from a variety of fields, with diverse backgrounds and experiences, and have limited exposure to Asia. Luce is experiential rather than academic and is not intended for those seeking research funding.
Eligibility
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Graduating seniors, recent graduates, or young professionals aged 32 or younger at the application deadline who have earned a bachelor's degree by the start of the program.
- Not having six consecutive months or one cumulative year in a Luce participating country within the past five years.

Campus procedure
Candidates apply directly to Luce Scholars through their website. Applicants can email their full availability and CV/resume to the prestigious scholarship team to schedule advising, discuss the program and application, or for essay review.
