Fourth year

In the last year of your undergraduate career, you should have a strong sense of where you want your education to take you. There are a host of scholarships available to seniors and recent alumni who are considering graduate school. 

Tips

  • Stay focused! You want to make sure your grades stay competitive. 
  • If you're in an honors program, write an honors thesis
  • Publish research
  • Continue community involvement at a leadership level
  • Prepare for interviews by reviewing tips and attending an interview skills workshop
  • Complete on-campus interviews for prestigious scholarships, if applicable
  • Participate in mock interviews and finalist interviews, if selected
  • Once you have been notified of your candidacy status, contact the prestigious scholarship advising team.

*If you are applying for Rhodes, Marshall, George J. Mitchell, Fulbright, Schwarzman, and/or Gates Cambridge, you will have started your application at the end of your third year. You must also have applied for admission to the relevant university in the early fall.
