Cost of Attendance - Online MBA

How to understand your Cost of Attendance

Cost of Attendance is an estimated budget that the school uses to help students maximize financial aid opportunities. This budget is estimated using direct and indirect costs that a student will incur while enrolled in an academic program.

Direct Costs: Expenses that the student will pay directly to the school. These items include Tuition and Fees, and Health Insurance.

Indirect Costs: Estimated expenses that the student will incur while enrolled in an academic program but will not pay to the school. These items include Books and Supplies, Room & Board, Personal Expenses, and Transportation.

Please note: The cost of attendance is calculated based on the current academic year's budget and represents the estimated expenses for a single academic year. In the event your program extends over multiple academic years, the fees listed in the budget indicate the estimated annual cost, not the total cost of the program.

Where do I start?

The aid year for Graduate School of Management students begins in the summer quarter and extends through the spring quarter of the following calendar year. Budgets are published for the entering term within the current aid year, and for the subsequent terms to be attended within the same year.

  • Example 1 - Entering Student: A student admitted into the fall quarter will be offered financial aid for their entering term (fall 2022) through the last term of the same aid year (spring 2023) for a total of three quarters. A new budget will be available for the next aid year (2023-24) in which the student will be a continuing student.

  • Example 2 - Continuing Student: A continuing student will be offered financial aid for the first term of the new aid year (summer 2022) and all attending terms planned for the same aid year (2022-23).
