UC Davis is one of only a few UC campuses where scholarship applications are read by committees comprised of faculty, staff, and students to determine a student's eligibility for scholarships. This personalized approach can take into consideration a variety of factors that are not necessarily reflected in a Grade Point Average or SAT score.

Committee on Undergraduate Scholarships, Honors & Prizes (CUSHP)

• This Committee, which defines general scholarship eligibility for UC Davis, reviews, evaluates, and scores all eligible scholarship applications from entering freshmen and transfer students, as well as, those from continuing students.
• Each scholarship application is read and scored by two CUSHP members. The overall scholarship score, which is a factor of the two reading scores and the student’s GPA, is what determines the amount of scholarship funding for which the student may be eligible.
