What is the Work-Study Program?
The Work-Study Program was created to stimulate and promote part-time employment for students who have financial need. It allows students to meet their educational expenses and provides an opportunity for students to gain work experience, as well as providing essential services to the University and the community.
Employers, please work closely with your employees to submit the required documentation in a timely manner, as Work-Study is administered on a first-come, first-served basis. Once funds are depleted, the award will no longer be available. Departments are responsible for ensuring the Position Pool IDs have been entered into UC Path prior to any of your employees beginning their Work-Study employment.
This website provides information on the Work-Study process for UC Davis employers. For information on posting a job, hiring a student, and policies and procedures relating to employment, please visit the Internship and Career Center website.
