  • The priority filing date for the 2024-25 FAFSA and CADAA has been extended to May 2, 2024. Visit Apply for Financial Aid for details.
  • The Department of Education has announced they will send information from the 2024-25 FAFSA to schools in mid-March. This may result in a delay in financial aid packaging and offers for the 2024-25 academic year. While awaiting your financial aid offer, we encourage you to utilize the UC Davis Financial Aid Estimator to estimate your potential aid.

Financial Aid and Scholarships sent Graduate/Professional students the following reminder message:

Dear Student,

We are reaching out to inform you that you have been awarded an ARP/HEERF III spring supplemental grant as determined by your 2021-22 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), California Dream Act Application (CADAA), or ARP/HEERF III Application.

Additional eligibility information can be found at American Rescue Plan FAQs.

To expedite receipt of funds, we recommend students sign up for Direct Deposit. Please also ensure your preferred mailing address is up to date.

Dear Student,

We are reaching out to remind current graduate and professional students that you may be eligible to receive American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding as determined by the 2021-22 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA). 

If you have not already done so, we encourage you to file a FAFSA or CADAA as soon as possible, but no later than January 31, 2022, to be considered for funding. Students with exceptional need will be prioritized. Students must be enrolled at the time of disbursement.

Financial Aid and Scholarships began disbursing ARP funds for the 2021-22 academic year to all eligible students beginning November 8, 2021 and will continue to do so until funds are depleted.

To expedite receipt of funds, we recommend students sign up for Direct Deposit. Please also ensure your preferred mailing address is up to date.

The American Rescue Plan (ARP) of 2021 was signed into law on March 11, 2021. The law specifies that 50% of the available funds must be used to provide emergency grants to students.

Financial Aid and Scholarships will disburse ARP funds for the 2021-22 academic year to all eligible students beginning November 8, 2021. Students must be enrolled at the time of disbursement.

If you currently meet the eligibility criteria below and have not been awarded by December 1, 2021, contact us via Contact An Expert.

  • Eligibility for ARP funding for graduate and professional students is based on need as determined by the 2021-22 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA). We encourage students to file a FAFSA or CADAA as soon as possible, but no later than January 31, 2022, to be considered for funding. Students with exceptional need will be prioritized.
  • Eligibility for ARP funding for undergraduate students is also based on need as determined by the 2021-22 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA). Students with exceptional need will be prioritized.

Financial Aid and Scholarships sent Undergraduate and Graduate/Professional INTERNATIONAL AND UNDOCUMENTED students the following message:

Dear Student,

The American Rescue Plan (ARP) of 2021 was signed into law on March 11, 2021, and was expanded to include international and undocumented students. The law specifies that 50% of the available funds must be used to provide emergency grants to students.

To be considered for assistance, complete the ARP/HEERF III Application by Friday, November 19, 2021. Please note, supporting documentation may be requested.

  • Eligibility for ARP funding will be based on need as determined by the information provided on the ARP/HEERF III Application. Students with exceptional need will be prioritized and must be enrolled at the time of disbursement.

All eligible students will be awarded by December 1, 2021. To expedite receipt of funds, we recommend students sign up for Direct Deposit.
