- Which undergraduate students are eligible for ARP/HEERF III funding and how will eligibility be determined?

Eligibility for ARP funding in fall 2021 for undergraduate students is based on need as determined by the 2021-22 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA).
ARP awarding for summer 2021 was based on need as determined by the 2020-21 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA). Summer funding has been disbursed to eligible undergraduate students enrolled in the summer term(s) of the 2020-21 academic year. Eligibility was for undergraduate students with an Expected Family Contribution of up to $20,000.
ARP awarding for summer 2022 was based on need as determined by the 2021-22 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA). Summer funding has been disbursed to eligible undergraduate students enrolled in the summer term(s) of the 2021-22 academic year. Eligibility was for enrolled undergraduate students with any summer grant eligibility.

• Students who are Pell Eligible, with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $0 will receive $2,200
• Students who are Pell Eligible, with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) greater than $0 and up to $5,846 will receive $1,800
• Students who are other grant recipients will receive $1,100
• Remaining students with need as determined by the FAFSA and CADAA will receive $800
UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS (SUMMER 2021)
• Students with an Expected Family Contribution of $0 to $5,846 received $600
• Students with an Expected Family Contribution of $5,847 to $20,000 received $400
UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS (SUMMER 2022)

Provide information based on a 12-month period that reflects your current financial situation.
- I currently live in California but my parents reside out of the country and I am here on a visa. What should I enter for the state of residency on the application?
- Provide the state where you currently reside.
- Do I need to do my own conversions for family income/tax information on the application if my parent(s) are from a different country and did not file in the U.S.? Do I need to provide my U.S. income only, or include income earned by my parent(s) or myself outside the U.S.?
