The Pantry is located on campus in the Memorial Union (MU), and all you need is your student ID to access it. The Pantry provides various produce by the Student Farm on campus and the YOLO Food Bank. Other necessities, such as toiletries, may also be available for students. The Pantry was established in 2003 and is a great resource for UC Davis students. Many find themselves not having enough money to buy food, and the Pantry offers great support for all Aggies. It’s a great opportunity for a student to have a reliable food source on campus.

How Does it Work?

The Pantry provides students 5 points every day and is able to match different items that add up to those points. Depending on the type of item that you decide to get, it will count for different points. For example, if you were to get cereal, pasta, or rice, each will be 3 points versus if you were to get a fruit cup or a granola bar, which counts for only 1 point. What’s great is that all veggies and fruits are zero points, and this means you are able to get as much as you want. They also provide other necessities, such as toiletries, that are free and no points are needed!
